Mingquan GroupFormerly known as Jinan Mingshui Fertilizer Plant, established in 1958, it was one of the first small-scale nitrogen fertilizer demonstration plants in China and Shandong Province. In September 2013, we initiated the process of moving out of the city and into the park, taking advantage of the relocation opportunity to achieve transformation, upgrading, and development. We aim to complete the transformation once every ten years. Mingquan currently has more than 3000 employees, with a total production capacity of 3.1 million tons of chemical products. In 2023, its operating revenue exceeded 15 billion yuan, ranking 82nd among the top 200 private enterprises in Shandong in 2024. Its various economic and technological indicators are at the advanced level in the domestic industry. There are 5 national high-tech enterprises, 3 provincial-level or above research and development platforms, and 1 national level specialized and innovative "little giant" enterprise among its subsidiaries. Mingquan has gradually formed a development path and industrial layout of "solid basic industries and outstanding high-tech".
1、 Solid foundation industry
Mingquan has successively built three sets of pressurized gasification units using advanced pressurized gasification technology, and the total production capacity of synthetic ammonia and urea has entered the forefront of the industry in the province and the first tier of the domestic industry. The pressurized gasification technology has the characteristics of high carbon conversion rate, wide adaptability to coal types, superior safety and environmental protection performance, and good economic benefits. It is currently vigorously promoted as a clean and efficient coal utilization technology in China. According to statistics from the China Nitrogen Fertilizer Industry Association, Mingquan ranks sixth in the "Top 20 National Nitrogen Fertilizer Enterprises for Synthetic Ammonia Production in 2023", thirteenth in the "Top 20 National Nitrogen Fertilizer Enterprises for Urea Production in 2023", and ninth in the "Top 20 National Nitrogen Fertilizer Enterprises for Total Profit in 2023".
2、 Highlighting high-tech
（1） Mingquan Agricultural Service: Based on the existing annual production capacity of 2 million tons of small particle urea, Mingquan will form an annual production capacity of 3.6 million tons of green and efficient fertilizer products by the end of 2024, including coated urea, water-soluble fertilizer, blended fertilizer, special compound fertilizer, etc. Mingquan is committed to building a high-end brand that integrates water and fertilizer, providing comprehensive nutritional solutions for modern agriculture.
（2） Photosensitive Polyimide (PSPI): PSPI is an indispensable polymer material for semiconductor chip packaging and display panel manufacturing. Mingquan launched the PSPI research and development project in 2017, which has broken through laboratory preparation technology. The first phase of PSPI industrialization has been completed and put into operation, achieving mass production and ton level sales; The second phase of industrialization will commence construction in 2023.
（3） Polyphenylene sulfide (PPS): Mingquan started developing PPS in 2016, and the project successfully passed the formula verification on the experimental platform and produced resin. At present, the construction of a project with an annual output of 30000 tons of high-end polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) resin and series products is being promoted. The first phase of the project will be completed and put into operation in the second half of 2024.
（4） Pharmaceutical intermediates: Mingquan will construct an annual output of 150000 tons of pyridine project in two phases, while promoting the extension of the industrial chain. The first phase of the project, with an annual output of 50000 tons of pyridine, will be completed and put into operation by the end of 2024. After the completion of the two phases, the company will become a leading enterprise in the pyridine industry.
Mingquan has established research and development centers in Beijing, Shanghai, Chengdu and other places, focusing on promoting the development of polymer materials.
